The return of the Trabant?
Herpa, a German manufacturer of miniature models, has decided to give a second lease of life to the legendary Trabant, a car symbolic of the GDR. This new Trabant will be presented in Frankfurt in the shape of a 1/10 scale model. Although the firm known for its reduced-size models holds the rights regarding use and construction, it will not be producing the model alone. A call for collaboration with other manufacturers has already been launched.
